How it works

A relaxed shower comes from spreading the work out. We’ve organized every task into a simple timeline — about six weeks out, a few weeks out, the final week and the day itself — so nothing gets left to the last minute.

Tap any item to check it off; the progress bar fills as you go and everything is remembered the next time you open the page. Use the print button for a paper copy, or to hand part of the list to whoever is helping you host.

Frequently asked questions

When should a baby shower be held? +

Most showers happen in the late second or early third trimester — often around 28–34 weeks — when the bump is showing but the parent-to-be is still comfortable. Some families prefer a “sip and see” after the baby arrives.

Who hosts the baby shower? +

Traditionally a close friend or family member hosts, but anyone can — including the parents-to-be themselves. There are no fixed rules; do what feels right for your circle.

How far ahead should I send invitations? +

Aim to send invitations about 3–4 weeks before the date, so guests can plan and you have time to get a final headcount for food and seating.

Do I need games and favors? +

Not at all — they’re optional. A few light games can break the ice, and small favors are a kind touch, but a relaxed gathering with good food and company is more than enough.
